Since 1988, we are developing and manufacturing wax thermostats from our Hungarian site for worldwide customers.
As this is a mechanical and very reliable component, which is mostly used to regulate and control cooling circuits, there is still a high demand for these assemblies today.
We currently produce around 500,000 thermostats a year at our Hungarian site. By expanding into new markets, we expect market demand to continue to rise in the future.
The basic function of a wax thermostat is to generate expansion via the specially developed wax mixture at a defined ambient temperature. This usually causes a pin to be pressed out of the cartridge with a defined force, which can then be used to control water circuits, for example.
Customer specifications for the opening and closing temperature as well as other parameters such as flow values can be taken into account and implemented during the development phase.
In addition to the classic wax thermostat, our product portfolio also includes individual wax cartridges. If required, we can also offer complete pre-assembled assemblies including thermostat plastic housings.
Due to the calibration process, all our thermostats undergo a 100% test to ensure the highest quality standards.
